WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and was formerly hosted by A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can participate, even without a blog. The only thing you need to do then is to comment on Sam’s post with your own answers. It is a fantastic way to share what you’ve been reading! If you’re ready, answer these three questions and share the link to your blog in the comments section of her blog.
The three Ws are:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
WWW Wednesday – Weekly Reading Update (2/27/19)
What are you currently reading?
Sky Without Stars by Jessica Brody and Joanne Rendell is my current read. I received this arc through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review, and I’m also part of the book tour. I just started reading it, and right now, it takes a little bit of getting used to, only because most names are in French.
There is nothing wrong with it (well, nothing major), but French is my first language. There are certain words the authors chose that made me wonder if they knew how it sounds to a native French speaker. Anyway, my mind tries to get over that part and into the story. So for now, it’s too early to say anything about it, but the premise is intriguing for sure.
What did you recently finish reading?
I finally finished The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater and should have a review up soon. I really enjoyed reading this series and can’t wait for the author’s next series.
What do you think you’ll read next?
So, I’m hoping to get to Dark Shores by Danielle Jensen by next week. This novel is also an eARC I received through NetGalley. I’m trying to read them by order of release date, so I’m not running late for any of them. This book sounds promising, and I can’t wait to dive into it.
Update that has nothing to do with the meme:
I’m also running a book giveaway on Instagram. The prize is Amber and Dust hardcopy by Lyra Selene with a signed bookplate. Go check my Instagram.
Good Luck!
What about you? What are you reading this week? Comment with your current read, and let me know how you like it so far?
The Raven Cycle is at the top of my favs. Really looking forward to her Ronan series.
Me too!! I remember thinking when I read the first book how her writing style was different. I’m a huge fan now.
