My TBR is out of control, but like most book lovers, I can’t stop myself when I see gorgeous book covers with exciting plots. Like a meme I saw this week says, I have no shelf control! True and wise words, people!
My ten most recent additions to my to-read list:
Blood Heir by Amélie Wen Zhao (ARC)
I had the lovely surprise to receive this eArc this morning through NetGalley and Random House Children’s Delacorte Press. I’m so excited to get started on this.
Dream Keeper by Amber Duell
I just started this book, and so far, this story is quite interesting. The book has been released today, and you can check it out here if you want more information. There is also a giveaway hosted by the publisher.
Circle of Shadows by Evelyn Skie
I received an exclusive edition of this book, signed and with sprayed edges. I’m totally in love with how the book looks, and the story sounds amazing. Can’t wait!
The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi
I’ve heard so many great reviews on this book that I’m really excited to get started on this one. The cover is gorgeous too, and I believe it is set in Paris. I lived there for 7 years, so we shall see if the representation is correct.
Stain by A.G. Howard
This book is also a book I’ve received in a book subscription (like The Gilded Wolves and Circle of Shadows). I probably wouldn’t have picked it, but reading the synopsis, I know it would have been a mistake. I’m so glad I have it, and the cover is also gorgeous.
Fire and Heist by Sarah Beth Durst
This cover is a masterpiece. I love the bold colors. The story is intriguing and I can’t wait to dive into this story. I’ve never read a book from this author and heard great things, so this is the perfect occasion.
Amber and Dusk by Lyra Selene
Expect a giveaway soon on my Instagram. I’ve received two copies of this book and will soon gift one on Instagram. Most likely sometime next week.
The Disasters by M.K. England
I don’t know much about this book, but the person who selected it has amazing taste. So I trust her opinion 100% and will read it for sure.
The Wicked King by Holly Black
I’ve been waiting for over a year for this book, and I’m halfway through this book. My reading speed is slow this month because I don’t seem to be able to get rid of that cold, which bugs me big time. I will post a review soon (hopefully).
Skyward by Brandon Sanderson
By accident, I listen to a sample of this book on audiobook and was hooked. I bought this book and hope to read it very soon. As you can see, my TBR is not going down any time soon.
