If 2025 has proven anything so far, it’s that romantasy is thriving. Last year’s releases are delivering epic worlds, dangerous magic, slow-burn (and sometimes explosive) romances, and emotionally charged stakes that keep readers up way past bedtime. From long-awaited sequels to brand-new series that everyone is buzzing about, these books have quickly become must-reads in the romantasy community.

Some are continuations of series I already love, others are worlds I can’t wait to step into once I finish my current reads—but all of them are being highly recommended by readers across Goodreads and BookTok.
