The three-part young adult graphic novel series will be brought to life by illustrator Eric Zawadzki (Heart Attack)) and the first installment debuts today, January 5, 2021.

Krypton’s top scientists–Jor-El and Lara–conduct a secret experiment that is meant to reform their planet from the cellular level up. Book Review

I’ve had the pleasure to read this graphic novel and truly loved how the story unfolds. This novel offers a glimpse of Krypton before its fall. The people living on the planet are blind to the changes.

We have two characters coming from two different social backgrounds who will do anything to save their planet. The stakes are high for both of them, but they have their heart in the right place.

I enjoyed some of the twists and can’t wait to hear more about some of the reveals. I truly look forward to reading book 2. Also, getting a view of Krypton before the Superman era is actually really nice. The story is well told and the drawing is simply stunning. This book gets all the stars from me.

Rating: 5 out of 5.
