Review:

Disclaimer: This review doesn’t contain any spoilers, and the opinions expressed are my own.

The Raven KingIn Blue Lily, Lily Blue, the third installment, the story is fast-paced. The stakes are raised, and the intrigue will make you wonder what will happen next. In The Raven King, the final book, the dynamic changes a bit. As a reader, you know the stakes, and it’ll keep you on the edge of your seat.

Everything led to this moment.

Let’s talk specifics:

The characters mature a little more in this book. They learn more about themselves and are coming to terms with their issues (or most of them). The quest brings their friendship to a whole new level, which is amazing to watch.

This book is a sweet mix of fast-paced actions, intrigues, and unexpected plot twists. With this in mind, I gave it four stars because the ending felt a little rushed at times. I believe the ending was perfect for this series, but there were moments where I wanted to get more information and barely made the pages.

The writing style mirrors the story and I really enjoyed that part. I won’t say more and will let you discover. Again, this is a spoiler-free review, and hard to write without spoiling anything. Finally, the epilogue was a great introduction to her upcoming series. I can’t wait to read it.

Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This series is such a wonderful series, filled with intrigue and a beautiful world-building (a mix of fantasy and paranormal). This book is ideal for lovers of witchcraft, unexplained phenomena, and YA adventures. Again, I highly recommend this series.

Happy Reading!
